Being a woman
You know I've thought about it, being a woman SUCKS. And now I'm not talking about the bodily functions of the female version of Homo Sapiens. I'm talking about being a woman in the society of today. You're supposed to look like a supermodel, if you don't you're supposed to do everything you can to come close to it. You should wan't to be really educated and spend so much time on it, cause then you can get a great career and nice friends and also you can choose from many men, but don't get paid more than your husband, cause that might make him feel insecure. Clothes are expensive, you cant wear the same dress twice among the same crowd, and you have to hope to god that no1 else is wearing the same outfit. Men can just wear suits. The worst of it all it being a teenage girl or young adult. Then you have to wear pretty clothes, weather should not affect your choice, hair has to be perfect, skin without blemishes, voice should be easy on the ear, interest should include workout, and something constructive. Most of all; Do not have your own opinion!
And to make sure you abide by these rules everywhere you go music, TV and magazines send you these messages, so over time you make these rediculess rules your own. In music, movies and TV shows, women are referred to, by men as bitches, babes and etc. Females are usually there to smile and be pretty. From magazines we get; "How to please your man, Six more ways to get bigger boobs, flatter tummy, better hair, clearer skin and etc." But the thing that bothers me the most is when women use this injustice for their advantidge. The most common one is like "oh sorry officer I just didn't realize I was going to fast", "I can't change this tire cause I'm wearing heels" "oh wow I'm just totally lost". This is something I think every woman has used at least once for her advantage, I know I have. But it's damaging to the cause, so we should stop it. The thing I hate the most is, "oh you should vote for me cause I'm a woman and there aren't that many in congress", "I didn't get the job due to sexual discrimination". This kind of nagging is the worst thing for women.
What I find interesting, is that there are many more men that undergo sex-change opperation to become women. Cause it's just so darn WONDERFUL to be a woman. It's been said that the most painful cut these men experience in the paycut.
